in 2014 (for one month) and 2016 (for 15 days) as a visiting Professor
under the International Exchange of Knowledge and Wisdom
Programme of Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China. He is
visiting the Department of Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry,
Slovak University of Technology for two months with a fellowship
from Slovak Academic Information Agency, Govt. of Slovakia
under its National Scholarship Programme for mobility of
Students, Research Scholars and Teachers.

International Projects

1. Indo-US 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Programme

The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) announced on 22nd Aug 2014 awards for collaborative research between select Indian universities and universities in the USA. Wherein Dibrugarh University is one of the four universities of the country which has been selected for the prestigious Research and Innovation Partnership Project under the Singh-Obama 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Scheme, which is now named as Indo-US 21st Century Knowledge Initiative Scheme.
The project proposal, submitted by Dr Subrata Borgohain Gogoi, Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University, for consideration under the USIEF-Singh-Obama 21st Century Knowledge Initiative, has been accepted for collaborative research with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Louisiana, USA, vide letter no F.No. 194-1/2009 (IC) dated 20 Feb 2015 from UGC, New Delhi. The details of the project are as follows:

2. India – Tunisia project

An India-Tunisia Joint call for proposals under the collaboration between DST, India and Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Tunisia was announced in November 2015. In total 130 joint proposals were received against the Call for which last date was January 31, 2016. Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India and Ministry of Higher Education Scientific Research, Tunisia has jointly decided to support 19 proposals. The result of which was declared on 25th Jan’17 vide http://dst.gov.in/prize/result-india-tunisia-joint-call-proposals on the DST website and email from DST on 24th Jan’17. The project was awarded to Dr Subrata Borgohain Gogoi, Department of Petroleum Technology, Dibrugarh University at the 6th position based on scientific merit, national priority of both the countries and scientific strengths of the project coordinators.
